Xpose Magazine Bridal Bible behind the scenes

I was in my element shooting for Xpose Magazine's Bridal Bible in Dunboyne Castle Hotel recently. This exciting new publication will be launching in the next couple of weeks and is set to be the next must have guide for brides (and grooms!!) -to-be!

The stunning Kelly Horrigan from Morgan The Agency was our blushing bride for the day.  Her make up was flawlessly applied by Anita Conroy from The Powder Room while the ever capable Eva, Sabrina & Lynsey from Dunboyne Hair & Beauty Salon carried out the fab work on Kelly's hair throughout the day with a variety of styles.

So with a full day of shooting ahead in the glorious sunshine, we started with our first look.  Kelly can be seen here wearing a stunning gown from The Town Bride. I had the exceptionally talented Colm Flanagan on hand to do all the fixing necessary for this gorgeous dress.

Cassidy Chauffeurs provided us with one of their beautiful vintage cars for our shoot.  Richard Cassidy was outside polishing it up all morning so it would look pristine for our shots with Kelly.

What a beautifully elegant gown from Ciara Bridal. Katie Comiskey was with us to make sure her dresses were picture perfect!

No dress is complete though without the obligatory flowers! But for our shoot at Dunboyne Castle, we had Julie, owner of Bouquet-licious, with us to showcase her brooch bouquets.  Each one is hand made and customised to the brides taste.  Now thats what I call a service!

It takes a lot of work to get the perfect shot! Here I am just checking out the exposure on camera to make sure every little detail is captured to perfection!

My handsome son, Matthew, who is fast becoming his mothers right arm, was delighted to finally meet the gorgeous Glenda from TV3's Xpose.  He looks very confident with that Xpose Mic!

And sure no piece for Xpose would go by smoothly for me without getting a fit of the giggles.  All part of the fun!

I was delighted to meet Melanie, wedding co-ordinator at the hotel who made everyone feel welcome on the day. We updated her profile picture while we were there.  Looking gorgeous! We also got a shot of the hotels recently renovated ballroom. Their stunning new ceiling and wall lights help to create a lovely romantic atmosphere in the room, perfect for any couples special day.

One of our last few set ups was to showcase the stunning jewellery which was brought along by Dee Purcell from Fields Jewellery and Arlene from Azara Jewellery

The Xpose Bridal Bible will be hitting shelves soon and I was delighted to be a part of it!

Saturday & Sunday AM photoshoot - behind the scenes

Last week Simon Delaney, Ivan Yates & Anna Daly called into the Photosbyjen studio at Fashion City for their photoshoot for the new Saturday Am & Sunday AM programmes.
The excitement was high, as was the humour, when the banter between Simon and Ivan got into full swing.  There were lots of laughs and if what I witnessed is anything to go by, the programmes, when they start at the end of August, will be worth tuning in for.  Anna Daly, a word to the wise, you may need help in the months ahead with laughter lines because I reckon there will be lots of laughs when the show begins.

Of course with every photoshoot comes a wardrobe and stylist, Clementine MacNeice, had a number of options for the three presenters to choose from.

Barbara from was on hand to do hair & make-up.

With wardrobe sorted, it was time to sit down with the production team to discuss the day's shoot.

And so to work...with the lovely Ivan...

As always, its so easy to photograph Anna... And h…
