My own, honest approach to a wedding

When it comes to photographing a wedding there isn't much I don't do. I do everything on the big day from helping the groom with his tie to blow-drying the creases out of the brides dress! For me the whole day is about more than than just capturing stunning images of the couple, it's about the experience in it's entirety. Helping the couple in that nerve wrecking lead up to the big day is all part of the process and it really pays off because when it comes to the wedding day we're all comfortable with each other and can enjoy the day together. We meet in my studio to chat about the important things like the time schedule for the day, the church, timing for photos etc. I even give them homework! My couples leave my studio armed with all the info I give them regarding the big day and I encourage them to tell their families where to be for photos and ask their families and bridal party members not to go missing until their photographs are taken. A Snapshot Of Me

Welcome to my blog! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jenny McCarthy. I’m a mother, photographer and wedding expert. I’ve been dying to start this blog for some time now so I can share advice, tips and tricks, funny stories and just a few personal insights with you all! Family I’ll start by telling you a bit about myself. Family has been and always will be the most important thing in my life. I would do absolutely anything for them! I value time with my family more than anything else.  Being able to work with families on a daily basis is a dream come true. To be able to give parents priceless portraits of the most important things in their life is the most rewarding feeling. When I have parents in for a newborn shoot, they often comment on how maternal I am and how they wish I could babysit for them!
